The ‘Save Our Paddo Club’ Alliance is standing up for Paddington.
The Alliance is formed by the local community and members of the Club to help stop a proposed merger that would strip Paddo RSL Club of its independence.
A merger of this description would erode local identity, weaken the connection with the veteran community, and take community assets out of community hands.
There is simply no justification for it.
With just a little TLC, the Paddo RSL Club is absolutely viable on its own - as a genuine veteran club, a hub for live music and local hospitality, and a community place that can once again thrive.
We have formed our local alliance across business and the community dedicated to securing the future of Paddo RSL Club as a truly independent community club, maintining it’s veteran heritage, owned and governed by its own local members, for generations yet to come.

Remain true to our local roots
Paddo RSL Club exists first and foremost as a local community club, bringing veterans and civilians together, commemorating ADF service, and supporting the welfare of veterans and their families - as it has historically done. It is critial that our Club remain owned exclusively by its own local members, for our own local community.

Return to commercial viability
We are confident that our Club can return to strong profitability by improving its performance in its current offerings of hospitality and live entertainment. No part of our Club need to be turned into a gym or office space to achieve this.
